OUR GRADUATE PROGRAMME
Here at andrew scott robertson we operate a two year graduate rotation scheme for students considering a career in the property industry. Our aim is to show you how the property industry works and what Surveying means. We encourage all our graduates to participate in a practical and active way in the day-to-day workings of the department and you will be given individual responsibility from the start. Your experience will give you the opportunity to learn about all aspects of surveying and the practical skills needed to become a surveyor, and you will be given every possible opportunity and resource to help you pass your exams.
At andrew scott robertson we don’t just look for one type of person, we look for a mixture of people with different skills. We typically recruit around 2-3 per year, with the following qualities:
- Candidates aiming for a 2.1 degree in a RICS accredited degree or masters in real estate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A keen interest in the property sector
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Self-motivated and highly organised
WORK EXPERIENCE
Our aim is to provide a taste of the work of andrew scott robertson’s graduates and show you how the property industry works. During a placement we will offer you the opportunity to attend departmental meetings to learn about the different areas of our business and get hands on practical experience.
